Spectrum recently hosted 20 Lockheed Martin/Sikorsky Supply Chain interns, many of whom were visiting an aerospace supplier for the first time.
During their visit, the Spectrum team provided an introduction to the company, led a tour of our manufacturing facilities, and showcased several of the products we manufacture in support of Sikorsky aircraft platforms. The visit offered the interns an opportunity to see firsthand how aerospace components are designed, manufactured, assembled, and supported throughout the production process.
The group was highly engaged throughout the tour, asking thoughtful questions and demonstrating a genuine interest in our operations, manufacturing processes, and the critical role suppliers play in supporting the aerospace industry.
We were pleased to share our experience and hope the visit provided valuable insight into the supplier side of the aerospace business as they begin their careers.
