Spectrum Obtains Parts Manufacturer Approval from the FAA
Spectrum has proven capability and a demonstrated expertise in obtaining Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) for aerospace components from the FAA.
This ability allows us to not only work closely with the O.E.M. in the certification process but also as follow-on work with the airlines or operators to either improve upon existing,problematic assemblies or provide highly economical,reliable alternative replacement parts which are FAA approved.
In this manner, Spectrum can design and provide parts for aged airframes or smaller fleets where the original suppliers have ceased to exist.
Typical successful applications include: Boeing 737,747,757 fuel pressure switches, Bell 214 ST switches, among others.
